Board of Education Plans to Move Dixon Middle School

Dixon Middle School is a 90 year old structure and is in need of extensive renovation and earthquake stabilization to be safe for students. Considering the cost involved and the growth on the west side of Provo, the Provo Board of Education has voted to move Dixon Middle School and close the current facility. The newly selected plot is at Footprinter Park located at 1150 S. 1350 West. The new school designs recommend a one story building with three times more available ground space than the existing school.
