Developed in 1998, The Shops at Riverwoods opened on August 8 with much anticipation; a new shopping and dining plaza that would cater to both Provo and Orem. However, its reputation would soon resonate throughout the entire Utah Valley.

Home to many different retailers, The Shops At Riverwoods contains specialty boutique stores found only in Utah, as well nationally recognized brands — styles and fashions for everyone. 

The dining experience at The Shops At Riverwoods features an eclectic array of flavors from across the globe. Only in The Riverwoods will you find the best dining Povo/Orem has to offer.

In 2009, The Shops at Riverwoods was purchased by Tigriswoods, LLC, and for the next year underwent a dramatic beautification enhancement. The entire common area, located at the center of the shops, became a European cobblestone walkway, incorporating an assortment of comfort features.  

During the warmer seasons of summer, The Shops at Riverwoods engages its water features and splash pads. Running through these features is a great way to cool off the heat of the sun. Grassy areas and shade features also provide a respite while enjoying the great outdoor shopping and dining available at The Shops at Riverwoods. 

When seasons begin to change, so does the atmosphere at The Shops at Riverwoods. Fire features and outdoor heating elements create a warming ambience to events and activities happening in the Riverwoods community. This pedestrian plaza is a spectacular town square.
